Spiralling Spirals

$30

Original, limited edition of 50 9″ x 12″ print on 11″ x 15″ paper. I first drew this pattern with pen and ink before turning it into a linocut design. These wobbly spiral circles are remniscent of sea urchins, flowers, bicycle spokes, dandelion seed pods, architectural trees and whatever else comes to your imagination. I print all my designs by hand so each one is unique!

This can be framed in a standard 11″ x 14″ frame, or 12″ x 16″ or 16″ x 20″ frame with an 11″ x 14″ cutout.

Linocut is a printmaking technique, similar to woodcut. A design is cut into a piece of linoleum with sharp knives and chisels. Ink is rolled over the linoleum surface and then press onto paper. Printing can be done by hand or with a press.
